I wrote this a good ten years ago. This is an “advice to self” song. It’s got a fair message of “mindfulness” in it, though I didn’t have that concept in mind at the time.

Sometimes — probably not all the time — it’s good to slow it down, see what’s missing, and remember that you’ve got something really, really special to offer.
